Invited Panelist on Upcoming Anti-Stigma Event

In honor of National Mental Health Month, on Saturday May 21st I will be speaking as part of a panel on mental health stigma at Palo Alto University.  Co-presenters include Dr. Stephen Hinshaw, Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychology at UC Berkeley and Jacks Ashley McNamara, co-founder of the Icarus Project and subject of the documentary Crooked Beauty.

Book Published

ISPS-US published a book I co-wrote and co-edited with my colleague Daniel Mackler.  The book is entitled, "A Way Out of Madness: Dealing with Your Family After You've Been Diagnosed with a Psychiatric Disorder."  Several psychology professors have already made this book required reading for students due to its unique, hopeful message.  The book is available here.
